Match the system to the glazing
A security-film proposal starts with the existing pane and frame condition, the specified product, and the intended application. Film thickness alone does not establish a system's performance. We review available product documentation and flag missing specifications or conditions that need clarification.
Include the attachment system
Our security-film scope includes an attachment or sealant system compatible with the selected film and frame, subject to the manufacturer's requirements. Where specified, this can include 3M Impact Protection Attachment sealant or an approved compatible system. Frame preparation, perimeter access, and cure requirements are part of the scope review.
Commercial estimating and installation
Share elevations, door schedules, glazing details, and any security-film specifications. We separate glass quantities and attachment requirements, identify exclusions, and coordinate installation access with the general contractor or property team. Applicable product documentation and care instructions are included in closeout.
Common questions
Does security film make glass unbreakable?
No. Film can help retain broken glass, but it does not make glazing unbreakable or guarantee that an intrusion will be prevented. Any performance claim must match the tested and installed system.
Is perimeter attachment included?
We include a compatible attachment or sealant system in the proposed security-film scope and confirm its requirements against the selected product, frame, and project specification.
Can entry doors be included?
Yes, doors can be reviewed as a separate line of scope. Glass, frames, hardware clearances, and installation access must be confirmed.
